Great-looking knives guys, really special

The mammoth on this one has a rose colored patch ,I thought was pretty neat. 4" swayback,it feels great in my hand,a great knife by a great guy &knife maker

Nice knife Vince! I have never seen a sheepfoot blade on a swayback. John nocked it out of the park! Do you have a pic of the knife closed?

I had this knife posted in another sub forum of Bladeforum's & no one seemed interested. To me ,it's a true work horse but with a splash of class. Blade is ground like a razor, too. Action is better than most I've handled

Whoa!!! That is NICE! I don't see too many customs with my favorite sheepsfoot blade. And the mammoth is beautiful.

Thanks Linus. That blade tapers from the tang ,getting wider to the tip, like a "rope knife" blade. I wish John would make more of these,it is one of my favorite's too.

Oh my! I love the sheepsfoot blade style, love the swayback handle style, and love horn or ivory. I gotta get one of those knives!

Thanks to all of you that have posted your beautiful "ivory" knives. I have one that has creamy elephant ivory scales but it is the wrong kind of knife to display in this forum, it is a liner lock. Thanks again for sharing the beautiful handles that nature has provided. Dan
