Let's see your W.A. Surls Knife!

Got the Matador in after a few days of ordeal messing with the USPS after they delivered the package to the wrong place this past Sat.
But I have it now.
This one will find time in the kitchen.
Heres a pic with a Limecutter

Mmmmmm. Bog Oak Outlander.

The three I picked up from Allen at Blade..

Mantis sporting some killer Osage
Kanati with Rusticwrap
Georgia Traveler in Carbon Fiber.

The Mantis was my cutlery of choice for the Fiddleback dinner at Fogo de Chao

Allen and I had just received our fighters back from Rick Lowe (they were out getting dressed) right before Blade. Here they are together with some amazing leather.
Top one in ironwood is Allen's, bottom one in koa is mine.

A couple of individual closeups since they are so very deserving of it..

While fighters are not really my thing, those two knives are a tour de force of design, materials and craftsmanship. I am REALLY impressed and envious.

Hmmm. Not quite sure how this happened. It all started with the little Palmer. I only planned on getting one!

I suspect Allen put a curse on me, or slipped something into my drink at TrackRock. How long before it wears off?

He helped me make the curlyQ at TrackRock (rookie attempt on my part). But since my hand marked it, it's the one I think is going to my dad.

The Bog Oak Huntsman and Inlander are my grails.

Um...that recovery group we've been talking about. Where exactly is that meeting tonight?

Damn impressive collection Tony! You have scored some really choice pieces, nicely done...

Tony, you are absolutely rockin it with your collection of W.A.'s blades......nicely done sir !

I am speechless Bill, these two knives are beyond words and the leather work from Rick is equally impressive.

Be it ever so humble, this was my snag from Allen's table at Blade Show:

There are a whole lot of awesome knives and leather posted on this page. Congratulations gentlemen!

These tomatoes have no idea what's coming for them!

I love the way this thing handles, there are endless ways to comfortably use this blade.
