Lets talk GEC!

I put sterling studs in there before my bail and chain 15 was harvested for its clip blade. I still consider making sterling crosses to embed in those spear b&c.
Can you post a photo, i would like to see what you have done. May help me in the future. Have a good weekend.

I don't like the placement (to far from butt of knife) and "unfinished" look of how the bale attaches to the knife....just not all that attractive to me especially in comparison to other knives with bales from GEC. I'm not a big fan of fobs on my knives either, to me its just unneeded bulk.

I agree that the design isn’t as good as their other bailed #15’s, although the placement is the same as the Navy/Rope knives (in fact, the Rope knives’ bail might even be a hair further from the butt of the knife). I like the way they did it in the Beer Scouts, with a pin/tube for the bail to fit into.

That’s the only knife I have that kind of fob on, and to be honest I haven’t carried it much yet, so I don’t know if I’ll really like, either. I was just trying something different to work with the odd bail. I do like a small/simple lanyard/fob on knives with lanyard tubes (#71, #21, #72, #43, etc.).

More or less in agreement Harry:thumbsup: But I'd omit the WCLF, love mine, superb knife, best LF for a century  but it's so rare.

38 Farmer's Jack (if you can't pinch them then leprosy must have ravaged you...) superb pattern in a lot of scales too and all great

73 Simply a useful and beautiful pocket-knife with again huge choice of scales. As for pinching...I can pinch most things ;):D

My 73s have a Drop Point blade which leaves very little blade area to pinch . But I do really like them .

Pretty much any single blade with a Sheepsfoot is highly pinch-able.
As for two blades, anything with a E-Z Cutout and a short secondary will work.

that is an extremely flattering angle for that beauty. I want one of those in the worst way.
