thanks, that's right. I guess they would be a little more expensive, and few people would appreciate why.

Yea that didn't take the dye well.... You should send that to me, no need to worry yourself with it.I have to say, I'm not very excited about the new #54's coming out of the factory. I wasn't going to add any more to the stable but after looking at the Northwoods, I fell in love.... this frame is outstanding with a single blade. If GEC made a Northfield single clip or spear, I'd be all over it. Here it is in blue camel bone which didn't take the blue very well.

I actually like the covers that don't take the dye completely.
I vote we let Buck make the Bucks.
My Forest Jack came shaving sharp and the tip is very aggressive. The pull on this one is really strong, at least an 8 I'd say, but I like it cuz I can easily pinch it open. Nice snappy, walk and talk. Great knife!
