Lets talk GEC!

Looks like the new Madison Barlow is gonna be a two blade. Spear and drop point, wow.

Just saw that... Honestly, I'm kinda disappointed. The Madison is already a little larger than my comfortable carry size; the extra width of making it a 2 blade is going to disqualify it for me. :\

I agree, no bueno for me either.

I triple that. It's not too big to me, but aesthetically, it's better as a single blade. Too bad because I was looking forward to a single spear point version. Can't win em all.

+4 I was looking forward to the cross cut mammoth, but 2-blades equals no bueno...

Me neither, I'm getting a Northfield saw cut bone single clip barlow at the end of January, so for now that will be enough. Single clips have become my new passion.

I personally think it is very cool to see those 2 "main blades" together. I wish there were a little more basic version of the same knife available.

I only collect single blades - luckily GEC has plenty to pick from. Something simple and classic about them. My capped end spearpoint 15 is my current carry piece. I have a few 77s on the way. I need to find a 2014 BF knife eventually.

Hope this isn't a dumb question, but:
What is the difference between a "Radio Knife" and "Crown Lifter"?

A single blade spear point MB would get my attention. I also think there will be those quite intrigued with the big two blade though. Me I have an order in for the 77 SF in Blackwood.

The etch is really the only difference.

Kind of Badge Engineering:D:D

I'm interested in how the Tortoise Ac is going to look on a big knife, not really decided about this one as the material (both real & faux) was usually reserved for smaller patterns and it looks fantastic on these. Would look the part on the forthcomng 36 Gardener/Whittler pattern but not so sure on a hulking Moose frame? The Northfield Natural and Burnt Stag versions do look very impressive, some top stag there. I particularly like the slant away bolsters on the Moose in contrast to the slant in the same direction on the Jack model.

Thanks, Will.

The first run of the Radio Knife had a Clip Main Blade. The first run of the Crownlifter Knife had a Spear Main Blade.

2 GEC's in Natural Stag
#55 and #99

Will Knifeswapper's upcoming sfo be the largest run GEC has done???
I understand there are over 300 individuals on the pre-order. Inevitably a good portion of those individuals have multiple knife reservations. Could this run reach 4 to 5 hundred knives and even though it is split between sheep, cliffe, and clip, would this be the largest run?
Thanks all.
