Lets talk GEC!

Wealth of Notions, that's what GEC is fast becoming..love it or flip it?;)

I'm very interested in another Spear 15 provided it's Barehead. Provided I can get hold of it under say 85 and NOT 850  It's the same knife after all, it reminds me of the man boasting about his slum property he bought for 20k becoming worth 2 million. Good, sell it but it's still a slum just an expensive one

As for the 85s I'm going to be the eternal contrarian ;)

I agree very much with Pàdruig Pàdruig about EO-notches, they get into my right ring finger-whose tip was nearly severed and it feels very uncomfortable, they're also a borderline eyesore :D but were much in vogue a few years back, another fad thankfully extinct.

But, I'd prefer a SINGLE blade 85 without the 'mutilation' two blades never really appealed here, too bulky....looks alright though:thumbsup:

Thanks, Will

I personally don't mind the real dealers getting what they can for GECs. They're not just profiteering, they have businesses which are in many cases their sole livelihood. What I think should happen is for GEC to raise prices to the point that stops the flipping. That way the market would be at a proper level. If GEC charges too much, they won't sell, but if they do sell, then they and the real dealers make the extra money.

agreed, id care more if it was single blade un EOed. If people do that to their knife after they buy it, go for it. Ruins the aesthetics to me.

Well, standby for me on the 85 and 15 - I was making lunch and didn't see the notification. That said, I noticed that a good 25ish minutes had passed since the notice went out and I was still able to get my name in the hat (kind of). I find that a bit encouraging.

I refreshed for about 20 minutes before I made it in. I only got in on standby for two 85s but I’m crossing my fingers I’m able to get one.

I think this makes sense. I'd rather the money go to those that are creating some type of value instead of those that are just flipping.

I like the fact that they are 2 blade. I hope the secondary is a coping blade. I find that combo spear/coping to be very useful on the 92. I was able to reserve a micarta, it could be a real diamond in the rough user.

Pic for a visual.;)
