Well, if it wasn’t for those sexy bolsters...
 
I imagine that Bill wanted the shield to have the coat of arms. But sometimes in manufacturing things don't turn out like you want sometimes. Perhaps he wasn't happy with the stamping and had to pull the plug on that idea.
 
Going camping with the wife and 3 year old in Vermont for the weekend. Bringing an ESEE 3 and Izula, the obligatory SAK, but the real fun one is the 62 pocket carver. I hope I can get in some whittling time. Excited to see if that bunny brings me a 38 eventually!
 
Hoping you guys can help me out. I am new to GEC collecting and have never owned a 38 Whittler. I was lucky enough to get a Bloodwood and received the knife yesterday. It looks great but there is a gap in between the springs and a piece of the spring sticks out and remains out when the blade is closed. However I can push it down with my nail. Thinking I should return it. Any comments would be appreciated.
