Lets talk GEC!

Sorry for being a newbie but where do the blade forums knives drop?
There will be a thread started to place orders, but noticing when you joined Blade Forums, you are not eligible to purchase, if you go to the thread at the top of the page about interest in the 2021 Blade Forums Knife there is a list of qualifying conditions. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

I'm thrilled to see a production schedule update, always fun to have something fresh to look forward to.

Seems we have a mystery knife as well to anticipate (maybe a Barlow of sorts? - no shield so that kind of makes sense). If that's the case, I wonder if we will see a new stamp on the bolster - new Barlow for the lineup (maybe), new stamp (take my money now!), and stainless (meh)? Though I am partial to GEC's 1095, a big stainless jack knife will sure make a lot of folks happy.

He has no inside information, just likes to pretend for attention.

That’s it exactly! I just conjure things up in my mind because I crave attention. That’s why I post here so often!

Nuts! It must just be 2 hard dealing with vapid self absorbed millennials like me.

Easy there drama queen. 🤔😉

I'm going to throw in my guess that 2AB stands for 2-arm-barlow. As in, not a "one-arm" barlow. I'm looking at these, and designating the blade as a clip point wouldn't make sense with a one-arm blade and a bird hook:

Looking at traumkommode's post of GEC abbreviations, could 2AB be meant to stand for SAB for a Sabre-ground clip blade?

Maybe exactly what is says, stainless one arm opener spear 86 with bird hook? GEC hasn't done a bird hook in awhile, seems like there were a few runs here and there that would pop up in the past.

The production schedule lists Clip as the blade shape, so I don't know - just random guessing.
