Lets talk GEC!

They could have just stamped a big “21” on the bolster and everyone would have loved it!

When my BF 21 arrives, I will probably bust out my trusty Dremel and “engrave” 21 on the bolsters. It’s gonna be sweet!
If you're going for numbers and want to test your dremel-skills then XXI looks a lot cooler :) It's like the 2009 Forum Knife had.

Talk earlier of the 14 : 15 patterns. There is a lot of difference in the feel of the knives in the hand, it's not just that the 14 is shorter, its handle lacks breadth and comes across as skimpy. Not really any better with the 2 blade Jack either, it is thicker but the handle is still narrow. These are really well made knives and offer a lot of handle choices but they don't get used by me despite my preference for smaller types. Mind you, a Sheepfoot one might be better ;)

Here shown with 15s and an 83

Here centre with other smaller knives

In late, but dreaming of a larger pen knife run, another 53/54 pen, 79 pen or another Possum skinner run would be awesome Clip primary, sheeps foot secondary.
Yes! More 53/54 please! Someone mentioned a camp knife and i think that would be awesome!

I was thinking today a cool knife would be a "mini" Bullnose. Downsize the #71 in the same proportions as the #14 to the #15.
I love the idea, the hard part is getting the tip of a "skinner" style blade buried into a straight handle.
It might be workable with an "EO" notch, but it wouldn't be so much "easy open" as it would be a minimum requirement for accessing the nail nick.

And the blade would probably have to be narrower.

*waits nervously for someone to post a historical example to show that I'm full of it.*

I meant same handle shape as the #71, just smaller. My reference to the #14 was that it is x% smaller than the #15, but still the same pattern, just downsized.

While we’re on the wish list kick my vote goes to a smaller 61 congress. 3.25” handle length. I adore 4 blade Congress knives.
