I think you should make him a one year old bowling alley with those tubes. My GEC tubes are a bit of a mess because my 1-year-old recently decided they would fun to play with. Just need to sit down reorganize ‘em.

I bought that last spring...... They had the blue and an orangeish color...... I thought the blue looked best....... You don't think it makes me look fat do you? What about that GEC hat?
Nice start! Don't part with that 29 because it may become difficult to replace if you want it back a couple years down the road.I am just getting started, these are a few I just bought. The GEC quality is stunning. Looking at prior threads, I have a long way to go. Are there pattern numbers on these things ? Clearly I have much to learn, so far all I know is what I like. I blame that Paddy Peeler guy for getting this bug.

It's pretty much expected. Is it wrong to wear Mickey Mouse ears at Disneyland?
Those are an excellent start! As others have said hang onto that 29 Stockyard, imho one of the top three GEC patterns and definitely great as a user and edc. I carry my 29 very often.I am just getting started, these are a few I just bought. The GEC quality is stunning. Looking at prior threads, I have a long way to go. Are there pattern numbers on these things ? Clearly I have much to learn, so far all I know is what I like. I blame that Paddy Peeler guy for getting this bug.

Based on this GEC pictures on this page:Ok y’all, I need some help. While reorganizing my GEC tubes this afternoon, I had some loose pins that needed to go back into the correct tubes. (I had taken them out a while back for one reason or other, and instead of putting them back in the tubes, I put them on top of the tube caps.)
Of course, when Scout got into ‘em, several of the pins got knocked out of place. Most of them were easy enough to match up with the right tube/knife, but I have these two fairly generic #15 Huckleberry Boy’s Knife pins and I can’t for the life of me remember which knives they came with.
I think I’ve narrowed it down to these nine knives.
2018 Single Spear, Ebony and Antique Yellow Jigged Bone (152118)
2018 Single Clip, Black Linen Micarta (151118)
2018 Single Clip (Bail & Chain), Dark Chestnut Peach Seed Jigged Bone (151118B&C)
2016 Crown Lifter, Sheepsfoot main, Ebony and Antique Yellow Jigged Bone, (153216CL)
2013 Farm Boy, Antique Yellow and Rust Red Jigged Bone (151213STL)
2013 Radio Knife, Antique Yellow Jigged Bone (151213STL)

I know it’s probably a long shot, but if anyone happens to have any of these knives and know that it came with that pin, please let me know!
(I will say that I don’t believe they came with either of the Farm Boys, but beyond that I really can’t remember.)
I think those are from your 152118’s
The only one I can say with 100% certainty came with a button like that is the Waynorth B&C SFO.
I'm pretty sure ALL of those had a button whereas the other 15s tended to be more random with the pins. Almost positive my Black Linen 15 had a pin tho, so that would be at least a possibility.
Based on this GEC pictures on this page:
I would say one pin goes in the Waynorth Cutlery 151118 B&C tube. The 151118 Black Linen Micarta can probably be ruled out because a pin is not shown with it. Unfortunately, there are not any pictures of the 152118 Gabon Ebony or the 152118 Antique Yellow jigged bone on this page.
I think that’s fair. There was a time when, even if there was a button made for the pattern, only about 1 in 4 came with one.I guess I’ll toss the pin at the open tubes until it lands in one, like a game of GEC beer pong.![]()
