Although they were present on all of the NF owls and these are confirmed NF, so fingers crossed!Fortunately, bails are uncommon on this pattern. The exception not the norm.
Really looking forward to the White Owls. I hope they use an interesting color of jigged bone, something a little different from the norm.

I’m sure this has come up before, but I didn’t find anything in the search. Do y’all do anything with your pins? I’ve thought about doing something off and on, but haven’t come up with anything yet.
My inner curmudgeon is irritated with how GEC is conducting its release news. I very much prefer the days where they announced the run in its entirety (for the most part) and we get to discuss it all in one place. With how things are now, we are left to speculate and we end up with multiple threads that either have to be merged or edited to accommodate the news as we get it.
It used to be much cleaner.
Anyway, it doesn't say anything about a bail on the White Owls. It will be interesting if they come with one or not. Also, I wouldn't mind seeing a blood red jigged bone on these - it feel like it's been a spell since they have run that material.
Thank you. I can give you one if you’d like.Nice collection of pins there. I’m jealous of your Farm & Field pins. I’ve got a bunch of F&F knives, and never got a single pin.![]()

Certainly agree they wear a Clip very well, but in the early days they were offered with Spear too. I foolishly got together a little collection of WOs only with Clips and missed the Spears. Pining for one, and I don't see any ever offered on the Exchange or for trades. The Spear by its shape, sits down very sleekly in the well of the knife too.My snakewood White Owl is one of my most favorite traditionals, GEC or otherwise.
I've come to accept the bail on it, although I'd prefer it be without one. And evidently I'm in the minority on this, but I think they look fantastic with clips. I'm in on all of these 68s, no doubt.
I actually prefer nail over long pull, but… more importantly…Maybe one. Long pull would’ve been better View attachment 1664722
LOL, I was thinking he ruined two knives. It is Halloween season, Frankenstein knife.I actually prefer nail over long pull, but… more importantly…
that knife is incredible! Looks like an Angus Jack, with the bolster from the forum knife, with great jigged scales! Did you do that yourself?
No sir. GEC did that one. I figured folks would’ve known by now. I’m usually late to all the info parties.I actually prefer nail over long pull, but… more importantly…

Shoo fly, shoo
Yep just checked out the “other knife forum.” They have this as their forum knife this year…that jigging is soooo nice! I was just thinking how nice our knife would be with a big ol coping secondary blade…I don't know if you can mention other knife forum names here?
I believe it is also a forum knife.
