Agree. The jigging looked like a Homage to feathers on an extended wing. Then I saw “cowhide jigged bone” and was confused.I really like how these look.

My toe is already in the crazy pool with an early reserve.Me too... but not enough to dip my toe into the crazy pool.
And then there are those knives made for selling in the store during the Rendezvous from parts left over from Runs that were maybe made in 2018 but the blades are stamped as though they were made in 2014 that adds some mystery too .

I really like how these look.

That Rat thought he'd escaped my Tabbycat.....I like the look of them, too, but I agree about the name of the bone color. It doesn’t make much sense to me. Seems like maybe Tawny Owl Jigged Bone or Barn Owl Jigged Bone would’ve been more fitting.

Still waiting for a canoe. Lol. Hard to tell what they will come up with next. All part of the fun isn't it? Maybe a bail version of the 68? Maybe one more pattern? Possibly a short run of a couple variations of something, then carry that over starting the new year with more variations? Maybe something really Christmasy cool for us to scramble around some more to try and get one. Who cares, I'm all in on whatever it is!So who’s taking a guess on how many new knife patterns are left in 2021?
My guess is we may see one pattern with two cover options. This assumes the whit owls get finished and shipped in November and the last two made and shipped in December.
No matter what, GEC has turned out some amazing knives in 2021!
A big single blade canoe. Clear acrylic with red and green glitter flake. Santa sleigh etching! Call it the the Big Indian Frontier something another. I don't know, but I'd buy one.Still waiting for a canoe. Lol. Hard to tell what they will come up with next. All part of the fun isn't it? Maybe a bail version of the 68? Maybe one more pattern?
