Sort of, kind of. I mean, there are lambsfoots with end caps, and that cool little space knife lambsfoot isn't rounded. It would be a variation on the pattern, to be sure, but not unwarranted, I think. As long as it was a Barehead with a rounded butt, ya I could see it... but that would change the pattern.
I usually feel this way. The gunstock #44 had that problem for me, until I got one blade-deleted and recovered in micarta and it is one of my favorites now. Sometimes it is about how well the edges are contoured. But, in the main, NOT a comfortable option. The new covers make it more interesting.
But still "no" on the big square butts... just not comfortable for me.
I wish everybody luck in trying to land some of these.
Nice. I know what my wife is getting me for Christmas!Yeah! Smooth Camel Bone and Jigged Bone covers for the 49 and 94 in the updated production schedule!
Hope soNo stag is disappointing, maybe the used all the prime stag on the 68’s!?
I saw that earlier too and am crossing my fingers that’s not what shows up for me.I wonder how good this one was before assembly?

You could put a shield on that one.I saw that earlier too and am crossing my fingers that’s not what shows up for me.
I haven't yet tried scrimshaw on polished stag; I'd be tempted on one like that.I saw that earlier too and am crossing my fingers that’s not what shows up for me.
That one's right up my alley ...I wonder how good this one was before assembly?
