GEC made no effort to match those covers. This is outrageous!![]()
Anyone else see a baby lambsfoot #49 in the future?
There was that run of 89s.I'm really liking the pattern parity GEC has been doing though. #49/#94, #68/#86, #47/#74, etc.
Tend to agree. Even though I'm not American, and thus have no strong feelings about the Stars & Stripes, I think it kitsch to put national symbols on knife scales, like some tourist souvenir thing, leave that to CASE and their 'themed' horrorsEasy pass for me. I just can't bring myself to buy a commercial product sporting the stars and stripes. To me, it's always just felt grimy to profit off of patriotism. Meh, my wallet could use a break anyways. With my luck, they blindside us with some different cover options I won't be able to resist, lol.

I've noticed there are several numbers not yet added to their inventory numbering system though, like a #41. It'd be pretty cool to see a #14 with a new surprise #41 pattern or something pop up.
Agreed. I would like some green camel on the small sheepfoot knife. But it will be interesting to see if they go with colors other than red, white or blue here.Green would be cool.
hopefully the small size might keep these on the shelf for dealers to display
I think the flag covers will be slower to move, but the natural covers will be sold out and on the bay for $250 within a day. I would guess the flag covers will be $25 cheaper.do you all think these 94 and 49 will sit or fly off the shelf
I have to agree with you that the 33's are a very nice knife , especially your Stag ones . I like the texture on yours better than mine but since I do not have any White Owls yet , I can not make that comparison between White Owls and 33's .This is how I like my stag
Also. I had thought the White owl being a similar pattern to this 33 would be a winner and could be a close contender to the 33 it just doesn’t do it. And although I do like the white owl, I still much prefer the 33.
Probably too much work but they could dip one end into red and the other into blue... though I hope this isn't the case. Or mismatch red on one side, blue on the other, with a star shieldAgreed. I am American and sometimes the Stars and Stripes on products can be a bit much. There’s a definite “ownership” of certain patriotic symbols by certain political groups and it can get weird when my beliefs don’t all line up with that. Either way though, I’m getting one at least. But I wish they’d had matching Stars and Stripes covers. The we the people on the flip side definitely feels Case-y to me.Tend to agree. But, some decent high polish Micarta would suit a small knife like this down to the ground in my view.
