Lets talk GEC!

With regards to the #36 now that we see the ebony and ivory, any more guesses how the harmonica fits in?
I was told there actually is an elephant at the National Zoo that actually plays harmonica. Who would've thunk? Stevie Wonder plays too, so it was supposed to be a clue to Stevie. Sue just put in in the picture in the elephants trunk. It created so much confusion, she finally took it out of the picture. So in reality, it really had no relevance to the knife.

I received my 77 yellow sawcut yesterday. Nice fit and finish, excellent smooth pull and snaps. I'd call the snap on mine about a 6. Mostly black in color with yellow tips to the bolsters and on the edges. The sawcut is very light. It almost doesn't give it a texture. I kinda like that though.
Now just waiting for my cocobolo to ship. I'm not really that fond of Barlow's, but this one is growing on me.

Not fond of barlows?! Those are fightin’ words around here! Just kidding congrats on the barlows.

Thanks. I said not that fond of. I like them, just not as well as some other patterns. I have several of them but this run of 77's may make me more fond of them. I go through cycles like everyone and today's dog's may be tomorrows favorites. Variety is nice.

I said this on another forum. The elephant accidentally swallowed the harmonica and may not survive. Therefore there's a possibility the 36 may not survive and GEC may have to substitute the pattern. We'll see.
