Lets talk GEC!

Imitation stag is such a throwback! I hope they put it on some Farm & Field knives. Total nostalgia!
Really? My guess is it's basically Delrin. That's what they put on $10 Schrade's. I guess they had a reason as there plenty of other materials they could've went with.

Yeah, but it predates modern Schrades. My first knife ever was imitation stag.
Sure, it’s not the expensive material we’ve come to expect from GEC, but it reminds me of my Uncle Henry’s, and sword brand knives.
The Delrin would fit right in with the Farm & Field line.

I love stag, but, like I said, would appreciate a quality modern knife with imitation stag for the nostalgia effect.

No news, my Love? A whole week gone by and not a peep for this thread?
I know you are ramping up for Rendevous, but still. For Pete's sake, Jiki Jiki is having to post in the daily carry thread!

GEC, we love you. We'll be here when you need our warm embrace. Forget us not. *swoons*

Don't get me wrong, I'm always super-stoked to see Jiki in the daily-carry thread.
I'm just pouting because GEC won't feed me pics/deets all the time. Wah-wah.

The schedule was updated today BTW. Not sure what changed besides the date.🤷
I think they changed the number for the fish knife from 651122 to 651222.

I was wondering how that was going to work. Trying to sort out in my mind how you would put a degouger on a clip blade. Then I settled on maybe it would be like an sak tooth pick and slide out the side. This make more sense.
