  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Lets talk GEC!

I gotta think they could come up with a better depiction of stockmen or cattlemen.
Ya, nothing in that picture makes me think of Stockman or Buckaroo...
Except one guy wearing a hat that could be considered a cowboy hat.
I was thinking the picture was more focussed on the vintage bar scene and the piano.

I see a bar on the right and the two gentlemen sitting are at a poker or card table.

Here is the original photo. Talk amongst yourselves.😉🤔

Everyone and everything in that picture is dirty with the dust of 300 miles, but everyone has a sparkling white shirt?

Oh man, that's some disturbing news. 😟

Well, if you collect only to look and admire, and not to touch and, err... operate with, then yes.

Not really. I see what you mean here, but look, to be called of a good quality a traditional pocket knife should have no gaps, no blade play, smooth corners, sharp blade, and overall built precisely. Well, every knife, not only traditional and not necessarily a folding one. Isn't that right?
Absolutely agree. I love my GECs, but have several with poor QC. The only ones I ever received that were sharp were the 36 run from 22. My 83 was more like Case quality, blade play up and down and sideways. Usable as a gent's knife, but not for daily use. Several others that had issues with fit and finish, thankfully blades were perfect.
