Is GEC not using Ebony or Cocobolo anymore? Haven't seen it in awhile. Of course my attention span isn't all that long.
Yes. that's correct. The 36 was also done in ebony as well as cocobolo. The 77 Barlow was done in cocobolo as well this year. That's just what comes to mind without checking.I think they’ve used cocobolo this year for the 36 and the 14 SFO. Not sure about ebony. Have a great day.
The 2022 forum knife is ebony. If that is of interest, hopefully you can grab one.Is GEC not using Ebony or Cocobolo anymore? Haven't seen it in awhile. Of course my attention span isn't all that long.
Whew.. The grain on that one is pretty sweet!View attachment 1957501I’m a bone and stag guy, but it’s hard to beat a good cocobolo run from GEC. Those 36’s were just as fantastic as the 77’s. I wish I would have kept my 36 cocobolo but kept my red bone instead.
You got any other 42's to share? The #42 is my first GEC and, I think, the best. Been a while since they ran these. Wonder when we are due?

You're going to need some swiss army pants to carry all of those!I was close back in 2018 - was only missing a few patterns at that time - but have given up that pursuit.

That's an interesting request, they are two very different patterns. Hope somebody can help you out.Would anyone who has both an 88 trapper and a 48 trapper (two blade) be willing to post a comparison picture? Thank you!

I think that is a safe bet.So I'm guessing next on the production list, after the coon spinners, would be our BF bunny knife?
