Lets talk GEC!

Yes, because there is no better feeling than when I post a picture of one of my carvings and a fellow reaches out to tell me how he would have done it.

Let the chef cook the food, the comedian do the funny, the artist paint the painting, the singer sing the song, and the cutler create the knife. That's how I handle it, enjoy their talent.
I didn't said "tell 'em how you would like their knives to be done". I said that if you have, for example, some old pattern on your mind that they haven't done yet, you can suggest it to them.

Need that 2022 Remington to drop!

I don’t smoke out of habit, but if I do I lean toward the traditional leaf. A legit pipe knife has to have that tamper IMO. Herbin trappers are grifters:p
I agree. I've seen many knives with a blade intentionally broken off for use with a pipe. But, a true pipe knife must have the tamper!

I would love it if GEC ever took it upon themselves to produce a pipe knife. Considering that a sausage knife and a hipster knife have been made by them, I don't think it too unreasonable...

This one is my favorite. It has a very useable pen blade, a chisel ground scraper, a very pointy poker, and a built in tamper. Everything you need and nothing you don't.
