Lets talk GEC!

a single blade 87? maybe ill bite, idk 4.5inch knife is a bit too large to carry daily. almost never carry the 65. maybe at 4in or 4.2. id have been more interested

Can't wait for the official announcement of 87 pattern! A giant Washington Jacks, way too cool. Hope they'll be clip or spear blades for the regular versions.
I believe one of the clubs mentioned delivery in April. Maybe 87s next maybe one more run first. It will be interesting to see. It seems like the 74/47 run has taken longer than the number of knives that were dropped. Another GEC run in the dark if I were to guess.

Does anyone know what the difference is between the 818222 deluxe and standard deluxe? Is the SD a little more premium or vice versa. I assume one has more of a visible snakewood pattern than the other but i'm just a bit confused. I have an SD but there's really no snakewood pattern at all.

Deluxe is more snake. Standard is less snake. There was no standard deluxe, I would guess SD is just short for standard.

That sounds like a loophole to me to buy a #87 SFO from CC, should one come along 😆

Add another to the voices clamoring for a GEC pipe knife.
The AGR one is quite good, I used one for a while.
Currently using this:
Which works well.

I'd certainly snag a GEC.
I think the GEC pipe knife first came up in the lighters and traditional knives thread. I'm a little surprised, but also glad that the idea is being well received!! 😅 I think it is at least possible we'd see one. It has never been done before and is certainly a traditional knife that could use a rebirth. This is probably true of most concepts, but, I'd imagine the main thing holding it back would be the tooling required for odd things like the tamp. We can still hope! 😝

Got it thank you, I think I saw a few listings where the seller said standard deluxe so that started my confusion. This makes sense.

Orchard, trees, apples?? ... who knows what's next 🤔
