They were testing the 25 cap lifter. That's the GEC R&D hand.

Interesting, wasn’t expecting a 25, much less one in this configuration. Not a huge fan of a combined blade/lifter, I would have preferred if these were separate.

I like the tang stamp placement.

Technically, that's a blade stamp. Yeah, it has that vertical... ehm... line after the stamp, but the caplifter cutout is before the stamp, so it's a blade already.

Though I am keen to add to my Red Sawcut lineup (never mind the TC in the mix there) and I will be doing my best to make that happen in this case, I doth protest a wee bit - this is a strange knife.

Strange. The sawcut covers are cool. I have owned 25’s before and they never seem to stick around…

Do I need one? No. Will I pick one up to see if I like it? Maybe.

Interesting indeed. I was wondering if a 25 would come soon; but I don’t think something like this would ever cross my mind even in the most drunken stupor imaginable. Is it one of those “it’s so weird I have to have it?”

That’s said…Why did this have to be a red saw cut… I’d may have been able to pass on this oddity it’ If it was anything else . Now I’m gonna have to try…

First time i see this blue coloring on the glow acrylic.
Is that the chemical that makes it glow? How does that work?
