Good luck getting a Northwoods on a drop without being familiar with their website. They vanish right before your very own rageful eyeballs. Have to be on point.

This year I happened to randomly get on KSF website and literally stumbled upon a few Northwoods kudu bone 59s (I believe those were the 59s). I was eyeballing them for more than a minute, with page refreshing, and they were still there. So chances are existent at least.

I had a feeling that would be an issue. Maybe I can get lucky but I'll probably have to get one off the secondary market.
 
Remington Barlow came in today. Here are some pictures of the knife and packaging. Fit and finish are great——typical for GEC and as good as any I’ve seen. The Sawcut Bone matches and looks good; love the color. Spring is almost flush at half stop and is flush at open and close. The shield is pinned. The “STERL ING” letter spacing looks a little odd to me, but overall I’m happy; this is the Granddaddy Barlow I’ve been waiting for from GEC. Can’t wait for the standard production line! Would love to see an all steel version.😃😃😃

Talk amongst yer selves. Do you hate it? Do you love it? Does it scare you? Does it offend you? Are you ambivalent? This one seems to really generate strong feelings and impressions. It’s like….knife art. Is it traditional? Is it woke? Is it post modern? So many questions…
 
I love mine! The Barlow bolster is sweet with its three lines, and the lanyard hole is a great touch, as is the EO notch.

Another total winner from GEC! :thumbsup:
