Lets talk GEC!

Does anyone have a guess as to how the Sawcut Richlite is colored/dyed? Are the dark parts going to wear off over time? to reveal a plain beige? Mostly I am wondering if it is a surface thing or penetrates like bone. Could make a big difference to how it wears. Nice and sturdy pull on this one:

I think richlite's base component (paper) was dyed with the specified color before forming the composite itself.
Nice! Looks way better than on production pics!

Usually That is the case, but if you look carefully at mine, the black residue looks kind of flakey on the ridges and there is some beige parts up on the ridges, but it is consistently caked down in the grooves. I think it was applied after the jigging.

edit: or maybe its just this:

Makes sense if the texture spans between 2 layers. The layers are not clear on the sides though

Seeing as it’s a mule deer in the pic and they haven’t specified sambar stag as they often do, I wonder if it’s going to be elk antler. Unless they've mistaken that for a whitetail and they're going that direction?

I’m gonna need a more premium fish than that my friend.
I'm not talking about some south basin pickerel, I'm talking about northern pickerel plucked from the bottom of a beautiful cold water stream, that you could see the bottom, ain't no swampy taste in these babies.
