That's the point there is not one clearly defined barlow.Just my opinion,Levines is also just an opinion.
I think most people will agree that those old English Barlows are what most people would regard as a clearly defined Barlow.
I didnt explain the joke I was just joining in with your humour in what was supposed to be friendly banter with you.
Sorry I upset you.
This is also true, but not in this case. Please don't project your feelings upon me.I see a lot of knives called Barlows that clearly arent, its not worh getting upset about.
Both of these instances are true. However, this instance is not one of those. It is a barlow. Levine even mentions that a sleeveboard barlow is rare. It would stand to reason that most people are unfamiliar with these examples. Just because one has not been exposed to something does not make it not real.
I'm going to stick with the guy who did the research. You are certainly entitled to your opinion .
I'm going to stick with the guy who did the research.![]()
All barlows are jacks.I guess if I am able to get one of the new 78's , I will call it a Jack and not a Barlow . JMO

I shall delete all my posts and not engage with you ever again. This is also true, but not in this case. Please don't project your feelings upon me.
New 78 looks nice to me. I hope the Action is like 78s of old. Not complaining but single bade clips would have been more preferable. Alas I cannot resist and I can already see myself getting one blade deleted. With my luck GEC will do the exact knives in a single blade right after![]()
39s are definitely my knife of the year. I don’t care what comes out. Long live the SPEY!!!!you never know, it took me years of whispering in Bill's ear, and pestering Randy. looks like its paying off when we see these single 39s. still drunk on 39s and a bit early but might be knife of the year???
Unfortunately this is not Burger King. We cannot have it our way. If it was I would say single clip please but hold the end capif only they offered the single clips as well and of course end caps. but well get there
