- saddest of all perhaps, is the darkening of Desert Ironwood. Have had some that started off looking like gold was engrained in the handle………….not so pretty now![]()
Some woods age-darken to their aesthetic detriment, and some get more beautiful!! Cherry is one that benefits from aging most times!!Bloodwood as well.![]()
Have some pictures of aged bloodwoodI think bloodwood ages wonderfully, especially if carried.
No, out of town so maybe next week.Have some pictures of aged bloodwood
Dude, seriously?..I would've like a sheep foot instead of the clip

Beautiful example and the Stag Dixie DID look better with a shield, such a clever assortment of blades too.Short Drop Points are unusual on a GEC - the only example I have is this secondary on a 2014 Dixie Stockman:

Gorgeous!I agree there, but Drop-Point is even better, though GEC seem to have mothballed that one. Maybe it was difficult to produce?

Many thanksGorgeous!

From the start Will! It’s a beauty. And some of those early models were bear traps to open…I had to up my daily Biotin regimentMany thanksHad it from new in 2008 and it does make a handy user as it has a broad sturdy blade.
