Lets talk GEC!

The clip blade has only been used on fruit and other foods. Building a patina since 2014.

Charlie waynorth waynorth - Perhaps this foreshadows a slow demise of GEC? Can't remember where but I saw a help wanted ad for GEC for cutler trainees - maybe Knife Magazine???
Change, not demise Ed!!!🤔
As we speak, Bill is filling in for an absent cutler!! The success of that company stems partly from the facts that ;
A - the boss knows how to do every cutlery step, besides being a smart businessman!!
B - the boss is willing to educate the workers, and recruits!!

If I was younger, I'd apply for one of those jobs!!! 😁

I only wish the best for Bill and GEC Charlie. It just took me off guard that Bill had suspended production of three blade knives.

I have mixed feelings because I mostly like single blades, and the only 3 blade I own is a Beer and Sausage. At the same time, FOMO!!!

I do remember reading the spear for the #18 had to be designed in order to be used interchangebly between the 06, 18 and 22. So I was surprised too when I didn't see it that year 😣
Luckily we can all pretty easily pick up a Winchester 2851, which is basically what a two-blade spear 22 would look like… but it just doesn’t scratch that mental itch of the “all 2s tang stamp”.
