Same here. I'm killing myself over not getting the chestnut boys knife. I like it so much better than the chestnut navy knife I got.

I like a very slim knife, so went with the chestnut. Elk is a beautiful cover material regardless.

The one that I saw that was a lot more white didn't have as much character. Just my opinion, but it was also very nice. No complaints on any I've seen. I've been looking forward to this for a long time. Now, all I need is a stockman in American Elk and I'll be a happy camper.

I like the way yours looks - it has a lot of character. It's a balance, if you want more character with deep groves they lean towards black. The more white covers seem to run smoother... I will be happy with whatever I get, and if mine looks like yours that will work for me. I will find out in about an hour!

On a side note, I like the 2 lined bolsters.
