The 35 frame will be used for a variety of blade configurations at some time, but when???? And what???? Only Bill Howard knows at this time, all the rest is hearsay. Right now, for sure, the BF knife is a spear and punch, and CC's version will have the same blades, but I'm confident a clip will be in the future for the 35 pattern, maybe in moose, cattle, stockman, and even scout versions (as long as we're dreaming!).

Charlie's will be a spear? That's not what I had thought... bummer. Oh well, I'm sure it will still be an awesome knife.

Scout!!! Scout!!! Scout!!! 4 blades, shell extractor can opener, philips head cap lifter, swedged and long pull 440C spear blade and scoop awl. Natural micarta scales and bail. Heaven on earth. I'd order 5 and accept the divorce papers.

So true. Good thing I have a nice warm Pendleton wool blanket to keep me cozy in my tent, Then again, my wife gave it to me for Christmas last year, and may decide to take it with the house and car.

But five of those knives? There is no way I could order less than five. One to use. One in case I lose the first one. One to send away to have a custom fixed blade made with scales to match it. One to keep in my backpack. One to be buried with. Five is an absolute minimum.

I don't dare say it out loud and jinx it but I too have heard of an exciting possible December release of a very Cool knife ;)
 
Spill the beans folks, there's an unwritten forum rule that says you can't post you heard something without telling us what it is - so ... post a source or at least tell us what you hear is coming. I think everyone has heard the 35 will be available in different variations down the road (possible scout), but I get the impression from some of the posts that there's something more specific.

Post it or the forum deities will place black spots on your stored carbon knives :p

You mean Sgt Schultz -he was always dodgy and would have been Feldwebel Schultz not Sergeant- I've always felt that those little details let down the historical accuracy of the show.:D

I heard that the upcoming GEC auto rescue scout has a barometer in the handle too-for when you need to know what the weathers going to do when you are camped out under the freeway overpass with nothing but a few pieces of greased knife tube paper for warmth and a mattress made of empty knife tubes to your name.
