Yep, they are listed by year, last 2 digits of the tang stamp.
I'm definitely on the fence. The main reason is because I have a reservation for the beer scout. Maybe I will just grab one and see if it has a spot in my collection.A shield would have been a nice touch.

Yes, it can be removed. But that's the etch they've always used on the Crown Lifter runs of the past. They made them in Spear and clip point and now this is the first Sheepsfoot Crown Lifter run.That balde etch is a defnite no from me. It doesn't go with the rest of the knife. But it can be removed....
