Lets talk GEC!

Thanks Tyd450 and 1 ADAM12, I just ordered a Cocobolo 74. Love the looks of them, especially the ones with light & dark contrast in the grain.

Is anybody excited for the upcoming run of #13s???

Jak,

I know everyones stoked about the heartland, but I'm with you. I can't wait to see the 13s. Especially the Clerk knife. I'm hoping they do a run in ebony. I passed up on the last round of 13s in bocota I think, and have been kicking myself since.

I've been on a budget and holding out for a new run of 15 single spear blade ebony, but this may change that.

I got my 74 Snakewood today and it is super snakey!! Thanks DLT!!! Sorry no pics.. Its shy!! John:D

Two beauties there redsparrow. The oiled bone was suppose to show up today but didn't make it:( I'll just wait until Monday. Just to confirm, these blades are carbon correct?

Thanks Paul and yes this run of 74's has carbon steel blades. I'm sure you'll be very happy Monday!!!

Thanks Mark and you're welcome. I've wanted a snakewood blade for quite sometime so I'm especially happy this one has lots of character. -James

Wow, guys, those Snakewood 74s look fantastic. That is just a heck of a classy knife. I'm kind of wishing I hadn't missed the boat on those. I find the fact that I can't buy ALL the knives kind of hard to accept :).

Thanks Harry! I'm very pleased! The 74's have a very real chance of becoming my favorite GEC pattern. I'm hoping you get one of the Autumn Gold Heartland Clips to show here real soon. They look extra special so I know that you would enjoy one. Stay warm over there on the other side of the big lake, -James

PS Thanks Alan (just saw your post). Ya know we want em' all. :)
Keep an eye on the exchange for one at a reasonable price. Good luck, -James
