Lets talk GEC!

Equal end patterns without at least one bolster look wonky to me.

My symmetrical bent says differently: an equal end should have two bolsters or none at all. The shadow pattern is the least objectionable thing about this knife, for me. Since a straight-edged blade is the LEAST likely shape to close on your fingers, it doesn't make sense to me to have it be the locking blade. If the other blade had been a clip or spear, then it could possibly benefit from a linerlock, but with the blade choices here, a plain slipjoint would have been preferable.

It's alive! ;) :p
Looks like they rounded the corners on the razor and screwdriver. What's the size of the screwdriver? Does it fit well? Looks like it would work well to pop the top on a paint can but how well does it work as screwdriver?

It extends about 1/8" out from the frame.
You can probably find a good fit pocket slip for it and there are bails that fit nicely as well.

I think you just nailed it.
Lol
I can't believe that no one at the big picnic last month thought to ask GEC about the origin of the CPJ.

Colin, I'm lookin' at you! I bet you asked Bill about it! Smiley face, winky face.

Mike, great pics, good angles to see.

Nope! The CPJ was the furthest thing from my mind while I was holding TC Barlows in mid production.

Now, I wish I had. ;)

I'm excited for the CPJ, but I don't know how I'll like the liner lock. Will definitely wait until I have one in hand, but I'm already thinking of ways to remove it.
