Closed quicker then the click of a 15 boys knife closingEarly reserve for the #15 clips just dropped on the CK site. And then they closed.....quickly!![]()
Guess I’ll just have to be happy with my 1 of 25 Oregon show TC Barlow #15 clip point
That’ll teach me![]()
Very curious what Charlies #15 barlow listed on the production schedule is.. somebody mentioned a couple pages back that they thought it will be another Ancient run. Anybody else think the same? I hope so, really hope so.
Thanks !! LOL I was just tying to ease the pain from missing out on the reservations and mix in a little braggingThose look amazing! Very lucky - bragger!![]()
From all that Northwoods training I’m sureStupid phone browser logged me out of the CK web site. Luckily I had a good connection and quick fingers!![]()
I really like Brimstone bone. Does anyone know if GEC contracted out bone say from Culppeper's? It's been a long time since that cover has shown up, I thought maybe since all bone is done in house that one is a goner.

I know now what I was missing .I see both spear and clip point 15s on the production schedule. I could be missing something too, though!
'08 so since it's early I wouldn't doubt if it's Culpeppers. i wonder the same about green mountain and pumpkin carved bone if they are variants of their stag cut/ carved bone in varying dyes. From what I understand, GEC did at one time use bone from Culpeppers. I do think your knife has some of that bone, but of course, I could be mistaken. What year is the tang stamp? I know that’s a pretty old knife (old in GEC terms that is).
Beautiful example! I do believe GEC could recreate that bone if they wanted to.
I feel like GEC did hear people asking for some of the classic patterns to come back. We had that great run of 66s and the 81s. The Churchill was amazing and there were the 53/54s and a #38 (albeit a single bladei wish GEC would stop doing the marathon 15 runs..... how about bringing back the 57?!

I'm pretty new to the whole GEC early reserve thing but if it were me and I thought I wanted one I'd reserve first ask questions later. Not like they won't have excellent resale value if you don't like it.I'm hoping some images of the upcoming #15 with bail and chain surface soon as I'm hesitant to pre-reserve sight unseen.

The Churchill was amazing and there were the 53/54s and a #38 (albeit a single blade). While the 78s were a lot like 15s, they were well-received. And now we're getting whalers!
Also, 44s are in production!
The 15 is so popular, we can't hardly complain. But I do think GEC has hit some real classic (non-15) patterns of late.
I love the 57, draggat, so I'm with you there. But we did just see a great run of 56s!The jigged bone 57 you posted is to-die-for.
