Maybe, but you're in good company here. I just got a 71 in Nifebrite and it's cooler than cool; it glows by golly.Thinner than all the other 71s too if that matters to you.
Please bear with me here. For the longest time I could not seem to grasp why anyone would want a knife like the Bull Nose #71. I figured a knife of that size, a single blade, and that blade shape needed a lock on it.........now I can't seem to resist the urge to buy one in nifebrite. Is something wrong with me?![]()

Bob covered the steels and handles. I'm pretty sure these are going to end up with a hook like other "bird" knives. Imagine the below but curved. There's pics of similar knives. I also saw a youtube vid of how the hook works.
My guess is an improved trapper with one of those bird-gutting hooks as a secondary.
