Lets talk GEC!

Anyone know if the Cripple Creeks will be a SFO for SMKW or avaliable for all dealers? I thought Blue Ridge Knives owned the rights to Cripple Creek and the Buffalo shield? I'm eyeing the DEsert Ironwood cripple creek...just don't want to miss out on it if a preorder will be avaliable.

Does anyone have a picture of a 15 and 78 next to each other? I'd like to see the size comparison. Or even a 78 and 81 next to each other would be nice.

The 14 schedule is exciting. I'll probably aim for a single blade with some sort of synthetic or wood handles.

I had been hoping for a #14 Mini Beer Scout type knife of some sort, or a version with a straight edge blade, but I like a good pointy clip point for my EDC purposes too.

The more GEC makes small knives (sub 3.5") the more I will buy. Like @Wurrwulf, I like my pocket knives near unnoticeable. I carry them in my watch pocket and my 14, 25 and Case Peanut are my favorites at the moment.

I'm excited to finally get to try out a single blade #14. The double blade just didn't really work for me, so I passed it on to someone else. But I think the single blade #14 will be a perfect watch pocket carry for work. Clip (and sheepsfoot) blades are my favorites, so I'm glad it's not another spear point.

Looking forward to the 14s. Excited to see the barlow handle, love my cherry bone 14. The 14, Pemberton and Beagle/Coyote models are all small enough for in pocket domestic air travel. In Canada of course.

I seem to prefer 2-blades. Top to bottom, 78, 15,14.

So many attractive options. If I only get one, I'm leaning towards the Grand Prairie Knives SFO.

My second choice is Gunstock Jack's SFO. The Crest shield is one of my favorites and like someone mentioned earlier, I've never seen Smooth Autumn Gold Bone covers that didn't look exceptional.

Thank you very much. That helps. I can see the stats but often a picture helps a lot more.
I really find the 14 too small, and even the single-blade 15 a bit light. I should have thrown in the single new 15, maybe someone else can compare single-blade examples.

When the 14 was announced a couple of years ago, I thought, "Who would need such a dinky knife?"

But I discovered that the 2 blade version really hits a sweet spot with me. I agree about the single blade 15s, although I own quite a few, haha. I think the 14s and 15s both shine as 2 blade knives.

I'm surprised at the lack of 2 blade 14s on the schedule, especially the TC Barlow. Really, no 2 blade barlow? Kinda bummed if that is the case.

I'm gonna try out the new clip blade. I have one of @gunstockjack SFO on reserve. I'm sure I will pick up some other models and I will try and score a TC barlow. I did have a TC #14 from last run but needed some cash and sold it. I do regret it now.

We will see if I change my mind about the size of the knife. I think the clip blade may help.

I think the clip on these should be more appealing than the spear. If I'm only going to have one blade on a traditional, I would usually prefer a clip.

Not me! The fact that the Barlow is only a single blade will make me feel better when I miss out on it. :p
If I can find a clip and pen in a handle I like, I'll buy one, but I'm getting confused trying to figure out who has which SFO.

Just buy one and ask @Jfowl31 to add a blade or caplifter for you.
