Lets talk GEC!

The Boot Shield is our branded shield that we are having GEC do on our SFO. We decided to create an “in-house” brand called Due South Knives. Slip joints are just part of the offering coming. There will be fixed blades, kitchen knives, modern folders etc. We trademarked the boot and the name Due South. The first GEC Knife is smooth green bone and will have a clip point with boot shield. They will be packaged in a wooden box with some other goodies.

We are doing an early reserve. If you want one, just email me saying to put you down. When they come in, we will invoice you through PayPal. Email info@otcutlery.com

Lee, I bought one of your Due South Barlows awhile back and I really like the wooden box it came in. You make those boxes yourself, correct?

Will the Boot shield be the same as your "cowboy boots growing into an oak tree" logo?

Will the blade have "Due South" deeply etched into it like the Barlow did?

Hey Rick, thank you for the interest! Yes, it will have a blade etch (slightly different etch but a deep one like that) and it will come in the wooden box. We don’t make these ourselves, but we have them made by a company called Woodchuck who laser etches the logo on the top. They go together like a puzzle for those who haven’t seen it. They are awesome. The “boot growing into the tree” is too much detail for the shield, so it’s just the silhouette of one of the boots. I’ll post a picture of the knife when I get to my computer.

By the way, we really stepped up our commitment to GEC because of early reserve requests. So if you want the Gunstock held for you, shoot me an email. We got them coming!

Someone posted a link listing all of the variations and sfo's on the upcoming 14. I saved it. But when I returned to it later everything on it was gone. Could someone redirect me to that list please?
