Thank you for that comparison.The last pin at the bottom of the handle does appear to be moved up the handle so that it is not in the way of the end cap.

Yes, the butt end pin is obviously moved up the knife, but not back. I do NOT want weaker pulls on these #14s.
Different models/runs come with different pull strengths. Most of the 43s are reported to have a lighter pull, mine is light but has excellent "snap". All my 15s seem to have a perfect pull (for me), somewhere between light and heavy. If you want a strong-er pull, try a 73 or a 71. Best to ask here about a particular model you might be interested in, somebody here will have it and be able to tell you about the pull strength.Are weak pulls a common thing on GEC. I only own one and its an 81.
My ebony anicent is flush in all three positions and is dead center. By far the best fit and finish of all my 40+ GEC knives.does any one have a gec that came flushed in all three positions?
