I noticed that GEC has some more fixed blades coming--a filet, a clip point paring, and another paring. Any word on whether they will be carbon or stainless? I'm guessing carbon, but hoping for stainless.

I'm guessing carbon also, but I'd be really surprised if the filet was not stainless. Bill said they're going to be thinner so that they're more flexible. I might get one.

On another note, I spied something on the production floor that we haven't heard of yet... I think people will be happy. New blade shape on an old frame, as it sounds from Randy.

Does anyone know the production total for the 782117 Northfield Golden Brown Jig Bone?

Seem to be missing in the 2017 list of production totals.

Due to a computer glitch at GEC those numbers are not known.
