Actually this shot provides better perspective as to how big this GEC tube really is. I am pretty sure it is around 1500 ft tall.

Oh the knife is a normal size but GEC sends it in a tube that is approximately 1500 ft tall. Same shipping rate though go figure.

I like it. If it had a round butt I'd be all over it. As it is, I don't prefer square butts. it's the reason I let my #44 go.

I've got several of 99s on pre-order, and this is one of them. It looks better than I'd imagined. Nice.

I would think they grind the eazy open notch after assembled.

I do hope in the next year we see more GEC stainless, preferably a stockman of some flavor. Something like a stainless 35 pattern stockman would be amazing!

I’m not sure I’ve had so many mixed feelings about a GEC as this.

That Springfield Bone looks very good but I feel it's better suited to other patterns, particularly Barehead types.
