Lets talk GEC!

Thank you very much Charlie. ✌
GEC has been finishing the #14 Barlows, and shipping them out.
The Ivory Bone ones were shipped to dealers on Friday. I am hoping the Ebonies will go out on Wednesday! My allotment Ivory and Black, won't go out until Friday or the following Monday.
Sigh . . . . . . . . . . . .
I hope you all post pix when you get them!!!:)

I would also like to see a return of Brimstone Bone as a handle material as shown on rbeggs rbeggs excellent photograph of his incredible 23. Something unique like the Charred Oak on my Beer Scout would be nice as well. I wonder why we rarely see Zebra Wood?

Fodderwing Fodderwing , I am only aware of the 22 Magnum two blade knife Dwight, but it is certainly possible Bill could have a variation in mind.

black mamba black mamba , yes Jeff, I was fortunate to find a Red Stag 72 shortly after we communicated. I was shocked to see it pop up. I had to pay dearly, but it is worth it to me. Yours is more on the red side, mine is more burnt orange, but I believe they are both excellent. I am like you now; that knife is not leaving my collection!

When did the information that GEC would not be giving any factory tours until further notice go up on their website? I just noticed it now. I wonder if something interesting is afoot? Or could this explain the delay in the upcoming schedule announcement?

I'm really excited to see that the smooth white hone has ends that are more "squared" than rounded this year! Makes it one for me to really try hard to get. Looking really great overall, @waynorth!

Only in SS & Stag Already have a 1095 in Bone Northfield version- seriously any variety would be welcome, I am tired of all the 15"s.
Some 33's would also be a breath of fresh air.
waverave waverave

Just got an email regarding Smith & Sons Mudbug, due in February. I know the last time they did a run of these, GEC didn't do a run of Bull Busters (#21) alongside them for whatever reason. I wonder if it might be different this time around.

The TC Barlow’s look great!

And oh man, that smooth rotten banana bone for the 85’s look great!

Yup, I started getting envious of the beaver tail because I only got a banana out of the tidioutes, but I’m very happy with how they’ coming out!

I didn’t get any Tidioutes so I am going to have scramble to find one when they drop.

I can’t complain though, because I managed to reserve all four of the Northfield sfo’s.

I hope so. I don't think they've done a run of #21 Bull Busters since I started buying GEC knives a few years ago. Plenty of Bull Noses, but no Busters.

I picked up a Bull Buster off the Exchange some time ago. It is a fine knife, I like it a lot. An excellent, all around working knife. I would be more interested in the Mudbugs (due to the lock back) but they insist on selling it with the leather sheath which, albeit nice, I still have no use for.

Yes a run of 21s would be great in some new covers, I think 2015 was the last run of them, I carry one every day.
