Lets talk GEC!

I always like the earlier cursive font serial numbers, but when they switched to the block numbers in 2011, I lost interest in them.

From what I’ve seen, the serial numbers on the Nickel Silver Bolsters are quite shallow. It would take a minute on a buffing machine to make it disappear

I'm not sure if anyone is interested but I just spotted a Brand New G.E.C. 481213EC Trapper in Ivory Bone for $135. I thought that sounded pretty reasonable for someone that might be hunting for that exact model. Just hit me up with a PM if your interested. I don't believe this website is part of BladeForums or I would just post it here.

Does anyone know what they will call the 2 blade 82s, the stockman are 3 blades, Dixie Pens?

My OFFICIAL guess:

Interesting... I would think that alludes to the Coke Bottle they have showed us a concept for. The #97, I think?

You might have hit the nail on the head with the #97's.

Maybe the #82's, then the #97's and (ouch!) another run of #71's.

They are definitely going for the bigger knives in 2019...several >4" so far.
The Bull Buster is 4 5/8".

My wallet is really thankful for the big knives since I have not gotten into anything bigger than 4” closed.

I’m also happy for the folks that love the upcoming knives.

The 29 is only three and a half inches long. Nice looking knife, but too small. :) Happily, neither the 86 nor the 97 blow my hair back, so maybe my wallet can catch a break.
