The 47 is listed as 3 3/4" but I can tell you from experience it doesn't feel as bulky as some.I’ve never owned a 47 before. At 3-7/8” closed its a tad large for me. I gravitate toward 3-5/8” and 3-3/4” as the “sweet” spot for me.
