Meh. Had two vipers. Sold them both. They were nice knives but I never warmed up to the swayback feel in hand, and while the blade was cool looking, that point was delicate if you attacked a cardboard box wrong. I hope the interpretation is correct, so my bank account can recuperate a little bit.

That’s the only thing I’d say- with my 93’s I feel like I have 95% of the same functionality as the viper. In approximately the same size package. A #74 though... we could talk.

What I want is to buy all the knife patterns GEC makes... But I guess I’m going to make some hard choices.

Clearly, it is a #74 pattern with a clip and wharncliffe blade, thus both a mustang and viper (with hotdog shield). Henceforth known as a rattlesnake.

For $124 the mudbugs just don't do it for me. I prefer something more traditional. Looks like a good work knife though.
