Let's talk Northwoods

Got mine, all excellent F&F. Beautiful knives. The burlap and black linen are real nail breakers to open, ouch!
Denim is easier but still a strong pull, these are the toughest to open of any of my NWs.

I had a forest jack that was very strong and snapped like a mad snapping turtle, vicious.

So will they break in? And if so how much could the pull actually go down by?

Got my red linen Little Bay today!

What a little masterpiece. I totally regret not trying for more than one of these, the little clip blade is such a winner.

Just looking at this knife on my coffee table here makes my brain generate endorphins. I would love to see some sort of ivory option in the future.

The pull should become smoother with break in. Flush the pivot with oil and work the blade back and forth. Another way to lessen the pull is to leave it partially open, so the spring is flexed.

I added a small EO notch into my Lil' Bae, but I can still barely pinch it open. Still plenty of room to make it bigger, though  I'll post some pictures this afternoon.

I've used both these methods and will probably do so with my 'Bays

I also got some pretty cool KSF stickers- one Snickers bar label and one Jurassic Park style.
Anyone else get some?

Cannot wait to see this! I really enjoy EO, like on my Michigan Jack
