So will they break in? And if so how much could the pull actually go down by?Got mine, all excellent F&F. Beautiful knives. The burlap and black linen are real nail breakers to open, ouch!
Denim is easier but still a strong pull, these are the toughest to open of any of my NWs.
I had a forest jack that was very strong and snapped like a mad snapping turtle, vicious.
So will they break in? And if so how much could the pull actually go down by?
I'm just guessing but I'm also from the U.P. and when I read the name, the first thing I thought of is Little Bay De Noc

The pull should become smoother with break in. Flush the pivot with oil and work the blade back and forth. Another way to lessen the pull is to leave it partially open, so the spring is flexed.
Cannot wait to see this! I really enjoy EO, like on my Michigan JackI added a small EO notch into my Lil' Bae, but I can still barely pinch it open. Still plenty of room to make it bigger, thoughI'll post some pictures this afternoon.

yeah the Heineken and the Jurrasic clones as well as the out space one too.I've used both these methods and will probably do so with my 'Bays
