Let's talk Northwoods

Matt beat me to it...
It looks interesting to me.
I'm curious about the maker and the price though.
And if these will fly off the shelves as fast as their folders.
115$, I’m more interested in any stragglers they might have, nice looking knife though!

I may try for one of these. I passed on a couple BRK Little Creeks this past week. These look perfect as a pocket sized FB.
The Little Creeks did look good, I was tempted, but I already have a BRK City Knife that I keep in my work pack. I'll be interested to see if there are some additional scales available for the Fall Creek besides the micarta.

I'm really curious to know who made the Fall Creek for them. I have a Northwoods kitchen knife in CTS-XHP and African Blackwood that is made by Lamson (I believe). It's alright, but not really anything to write home about. I think most (all?) of Northwoods other fixed blades are made by Bark River.

I hope they do a run of the City Knife next year. I have a PSK EDC in Magnacut reserved that I think should be pretty sweet. I'm with you on the Fall Creek covers - hoping for a couple of interesting choices in wood or bone. A mammoth would be cool but I doubt I'm fast enough on the draw.

So my blue camel 23 arrived today (I posted the KSF pictures back on page 148) and it looks even better in person than in the photos, which is nice. After seeing the Knife Thoughts video over the weekend, I was a bit concerned. But as I inspect the knife, I cannot find a single flaw. The blade is straight with no wobble, the tip is not proud, no gaps, no scratches or weird edge grinds. It's a beautiful example and exactly what I was hoping for.

My guess is that the blade was made by GEC. 1095 screams GEC. Also they way it is stamped says GEC.
Jay has a video up on Facebook, mentioned previous fixed blades made for Northwoods by Lamson, GEC, and Bark River. He doesn’t identify the current manufacturer, but says they’re made in the USA.

I wish they would just outright say who makes them. It does look nice but I already own a really nice Redmeadow Zulu that fits that role.

Fall Creek looks kike it has a nice size grip for a small knife to EDC, depending on who made these I'm in, hope they announce before they drop otherwise I'm out

I almost never carry a fixed blade, but I do love the little ones and have a few in my very small collection.
I may try to get on Wednesday, but only if I'm free and around a computer at that time... not a "must have".

Wow, good variety of handle materials. I may have to peak in on the drop if I’m in the office tomorrow.
