Let's talk Northwoods

The more I look at the big bay the more I think it needs less bolster and a shield rather than bolster stamp. The arrowhead doesn’t look quite rightly sized for the bolster to my eyes.

Cant decide between a black linen or red burlap micarta. I have gotten a couple of burlap micartas that were exceptionally faded and rough. The black linen was very nice on the Little Bay.

I agree, new Northwoods or a spicy chicken with biscuit and honey? What to do :p

Pocket knives come and go, but KFC chicken is ALWAYS tasty!

hey guys--I don't come around here much any more, but I want you to know I appreciate the interest in Northwoods.

If things go south with KSF, we will give KFC chicken a try. :)
Just know that whatever you choose, people will have a bone to pick with you. For my sake, I hope you don't chicken out of the knife business.

The good thing about the chicken business is that there is two of everything.

You could double dip and have folks turn their chicken bones back in. Might make good scales for small pattern knives!!:p

I will have a bucket of chicken and a blue chicken bone esquire please............orders coming right up.:)o_O

Thanks for sharing pics! I sat this one out. I’m enjoying the variations and looking forward to your first impressions.

The standard run of 78's have great springs on them. They close with authority! I can pinch mine open. If any of you didn't get a 78 you will really like the springs on these.
