Interesting thought that they might not use GEC anymore. I have to say that I wasn’t happy with my recent Fremont scores and sold them both. However, they had all hallmarks of a GEC knive. The weak pull and lackluster walk and talk killed it for me. Unfortunately that has been seen on some GEC knives as well lately. Still on the fence about the Bear Lake.
I don't think you'll find it too big unless you like really small knives. I may be mistaken but I thought I read somewhere that these are 3 1/2 inches closed but look much larger in the pics.
Yes-curaço is normally referring to a liquor, that is either blue, or orange/brown-like in color. Just a color reference. What is Curaco burlap? I mean does Curaco refer to the manufacturer of the burlap? I've not seen that on a Northwoods folder before, but I may be mistaken. Looks much like the similar large weave burlap micartas they've used before.
Wow, that really does look like fire. Nice. Almost had one, but it got away...I have a Kudu #70 coming. Interested in the new covers. Looks like the red stuff is resin? Or the black? Should be interesting. Hope the W&T is going to be nice.

So you're the one who grabbed that dark stag. I saw it after I had already bought mine and was sort of wishing I had had a little more patience. Nice grab, man!
