Thank you.One of the better looking Burlaps I’ve seen, Cigarodog! Most I didn’t care for and that’s why I chose not to compete for one, in these last two drops. This one has well defined rope in it and a lovely color overall, well done!
Just received my Smoke Burlap Bear Lake. Very Nice. Pinchable, but not too soft. Walk and talk is slightly muted, I’m fine with that. I’m happy.

Do you have a Delta Jack to compare? Here are 3 new Bear Lakes. Curaco Burlap and 2 Kudu Bone. Fremont for scale. Walk and talk is ok on all. Easy pinch, and I think better snap than the Fremont. With a flush I think they would be good to go. The Kudu bone makes for some very interesting handles, though there are some inconsistencies in the finishing.
I was thinking these would be like a reverse GEC 15, and it’s close, but these are actually shorter in height and longer in length.

I got one, and was also very pleased with blade centering. Pull just right for me tooJust received my Curaco Burlap, very pleased! Walk and talk is good, blade centering is close to perfect. Even the wife gave me a thumbs up! Life is good!!
Thank you!Well from that picture it sure does look like a mini Fremont? Great comparison and set of knives friend
Now I can confirm. I agree too! Have one in hand and yeah, I like it. For some reason I never liked the look of the single bolstered bear lake although I did like the spearpoint blade. I really really like this pattern. While the Fremont may remain my favorite. At times it feels a little large, this IS a mini Fremont! Side note, I didn't like the burlap deltas I had and sold both, but the bear lake nailed it. For some reason the blade to handle felt off, and I didn't like the green or red burlap, but this curaçao is really great and the blade feels right for the knife. Fit and finish great, pull is very nice, everything else top notch. Very pleased and satisfied. Great handle materials too.Thank you!
I could agree with that. Looks and feels like a mini Fremont in hand.
No, sorry.Do you have a Delta Jack to compare?
