Im watching 3 people who know nothing at all about cars except "supras are the best mann" and "american cars are pieces of shi*" "mustangs suck" "my honda will beat all of your cars"
I would love to jump in and tell them that one of my dads old cadilac's smoked a turboed 2jz supra (grant it it had an LS2 motor in it but still) I dont feel like getting flamed for the next three hours about it...

P.S. Im not a fanboy towards american or import.
 
Caddy with an LS2? Was that stock? I'm trying to think of what that was.

If it was a stock supra then yeah I can imagine that. If it was even slightly modified then the driver was an idiot.

Caddilac Cts-v. It was pushing 400 hp with about 390-95 foot lbs. of torque. I dont know much about the supra but there was a turbo.

Edit: My bad it was an LS6. I was going through a few pics of it and just noticed.
 
Those did have the LS2 that is right.

Stock supras had between 250-350hp depending on what model it was. It also depends on if it was a single or twin turbo set up. The Supra came stock in each set up.
 
Like I said in the edit LS6. And I dont know about the supra I highly doubt it was a TT setup or he would have pulled a lead he could have just sucked at driving.
 
The single turbo was actually a larger turbo that came in the gen 4 supra.


The whole LS family is an amazing engine. The LS1-LSx is quite the amazing engine. Even the LT line of engines is sweet. I'd personally rather have the LT1 engine than the LS1. (Iron block vs aluminum block with iron sleeves) even though the LS1 is SUBSTANTIALLY lighter.
 
If I had a choice (and money) id most likley go for the LS1. The parts are more pricy but IMO it would be worth it. But thats if I had the money like you said there amazing engines and, each has their advantages

Pumpkin beer, BLTs, and Beckers tonight. Tomorrow is my first day off in 8 days so this is like my Friday :)

$5.99 for a 6 pack at my local Trader Joes and it's f****ng delicious! I stock up every year, bought three six packs tonight.

The trick is to toast the bread together in one slot. Bread is toasted on one side, the sides that were pressed together stay nice and soft.

Mayo mixed with balsamic vinegar, black pepper, fresh basil, and shredded parmesan. I always make extra and use it on everything.

I was wondering this myself. I sent him a PM as soon as I returned from the gathering. I have not heard back from him. Hope he's O.K.
 
Broke my hand about a month ago when I had an accident with my compound bow. String broke and the entire thing snapped back and nailed my left hand. It was almost completely good and I tripped over the stupid Wii Fit board and rebroke the same spot when my hand hit the entertainment center. Go figure. :rolleyes:

Holiday drinking rules? I haven't followed those since college. Maybe I'll put a shot of baileys in my coffee this morning. Living on the edge!.....Oh yea :D
 
Gettin' snipped Friday. Trying to decide whether I'm more nervous about the discomfort or more excited about the fact that I've committed to laying around on my butt reading and watching movies all weekend or more irritated that the doc says I need to wait two weeks before gettin' back in action and four damn months before I'm swimmer-free. Gonna ask him if he cares if I take pictures while he's doing his thing :D

We actually had a very lengthy conversation about this very topic at the Gathering. Talk to Hawk, Todd, and Moose. Hear their stories. I apparently am shilling for a new form of male sterilization, so I am not to be trusted.
 
Gusty had a really bad time with his also. Judging by the conversation at the gathering I wounder if a few kicks to the nuts would be better.
