Limited Edition Tyrade

How does that one stack up to the original frame lock in thickness Thomas? Will it end up being about the same or is it thicker?

Here are a few comparison shots;

Mid-life crisis. What?
I am WAY past any mid-life crisis. :D

Knife handles come in black.
Toy handles come in pretty colors.
The Assassins Guild does not play with toys.

THOMAS

im glad you posted those pics of the lock on this one......
see how it has the grooves for the thumb to press against on the liner lock?

why cant the new ZT0350 have those?

btw... the liners looks super beefy on this tyrade!
Im defianntly game for one

I really like the look of the color contrast on the original Tyrade blade.
Why doesn't the new blade have the same coloring? The D2 should look darker, right?

Here's your answer:

Ok, here is the deal, these blades originally didn't pass QC because the etching wasn't perfect on them. They were scheduled to go into the original Tyrades.

It's either this finish, bead blast them, or we scrap them.

As far as the scales, we have the G-10, the liners would be fairly easy. We could keep the price at a minimum this way, and still have top notch materials.

Ahh. Thanks for showing me that.
I don't know what "etching" means when it comes to blades. I'm kind of a noobie (this is my brother's account).

Would a bead blast finish mean a better look to the blade as a whole or make the D2 darker?
