Limited Edition Tyrade

I'm in. Current Tyrade is awesome, and this idea would make for a great working model.........although a limited model, so I guess I need three. One to work, one to my son, and one to safe queen.:thumbup::D

This one would be a great user and please tip up option. I had a Tyrade and got rid of it because it was tip down and speedsafe. For some reason I have a mental block on carrying a speedsafe knife tip down. I am sure it will probably not ever open but I just can't mentally get past the idea. If the Zero Tolerance style clip could be used that would make this perfect as the other thing about the original Tyrade was the massive clip.

I love the CPM-D2 on the cb leek I have so I would be excited for more CPM-D2.

All right, so we'll go forward with the project, and I should have finalized details over the next week or so. Hoping for late March delivery.

Thanks for the support and input everyone.

i have personaly seen some one loose a finger from liner lock failure. after seeing that i will never use a liner lock knife.

I'm sure that for every single locking system available, there is at least one person out there that has lost a finger from a failure.

I'll say that I would much prefer a frame lock. However, I can understand if putting a frame lock on it would up the cost a little too much.
These super thick liners are pretty solid anyway (see ZT0200), and being done by Kershaw means a lot.

Either way I'm in!

Thats great to to hear. I cant wait.:D
The whole idea of asking hear on the forum before producing also says a lot about the company. I have great appriciation for a company that values the input of its consumer base.

That is one that I am interested in just make the G10 like the Lahar and not like the Avalanche I hate the Avalanche G10,nice knife though but I sold mine.

Good to hear. If you're still in the design phase, may I suggest moving the clip as far back on the handle as possible for the tip up position? Keep it as deep riding as possible!
